Anxiety is the most common mental health condition, affecting over 275 million people worldwide.
While most of us experience some degree of anxiety and stress in everyday life, those with severe symptoms often feel trapped in a vicious cycle of worry, isolation, and self-doubt, and could benefit from treatment and support.
If you are noticing uncontrollable feelings of agitation, anger and aggression, you may be suffering from an anger problem.
Anger problems can have a significant impact on our ability to maintain relationships, perform to our best and enjoy life.
Accessing psychological support can help you to understand and get a hold of your anger.
Abuse and addiction towards drugs and/or alcohol can affect individuals from all ages and gender groups.
Addictive behaviour towards drugs or alcohol can take control over your life, and interfere with work performance, family relationships, financial stability and physical health.
If you believe you are developing an addiction towards alcohol or drugs, psychological intervention can support you greatly, to overcome and reduce these addictive behaviours.
Grief is the emotion we feel when we experience a loss.
This could be the loss of a loved one, loss of a job, a relocation, or a relationship breakdown.
We all grieve in different ways. For some, grief is easily overcome, whilst for others, it can take some time to pass.
Every individual grieves in their own way, dependent upon the extent of their loss and their emotions.
However, grief is a normal reaction to a significant loss, and with the right support, it can pass.
For some, a significant or traumatic event can lead to long term mental disturbance.
If you have experienced trauma or have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), you may experience recuring memories, nightmares or flashbacks related to the event.
Accessing appropriate support and treatment can help to reduce and manage these symptoms.
Navigating through the teenage years can be challenging for some. Understanding friendship groups, family relationships, school and health can be overwhelming and lead to mental health concerns. Psychological support can equip teenagers with the skills needed to regulate and manage their emotions and move through life more successfully.
